Questions
The things people ask before they book.
If your question is not here, call the clinic and speak to a treatment coordinator rather than a call centre.
Before you start
Do I need a referral from our dentist?
No. You can book directly with us. If you have a referral we will read it, and we send treatment notes back to your dentist either way.
What age should my child first be seen?
Seven. Most children need nothing at that point, but it is the age where we can see how the adult teeth and jaw are tracking. That assessment is free.
What happens at the consult?
Forty-five minutes: photographs, a 3D scan, an examination by the orthodontist, then your options and the full price in writing before you leave.
Cost and payment
Is the published price really the final price?
Yes. Records, appointments, emergencies, repairs and two years of retainers are all inside the quoted fee.
Can we pay monthly?
Yes, interest free across the length of treatment after a $500 deposit.
Will insurance cover it?
Most plans cover a share, often a lifetime orthodontic maximum. We bill your insurer directly and confirm your out-of-pocket number at the consult.
During treatment
How often are appointments?
Every six to ten weeks, and most take under twenty minutes. Aligner patients often go longer between visits.
Something broke on a weekend.
Call the clinic line and we will see you at the first clinic open, at no additional cost.
Can we switch clinics mid-treatment?
Any time. Your record is shared across all six locations.
